Art Deco Glass Set with Sterling Overlay - Item/Description: Art Deco table glass bowl and candlesticks with Sterling Silver overlay floral design. The candlesticks feature a bold geometric ”fan” design with floral etchings. Glass motif is called Maya Glass (produced in the 1930s) which refers to a pattern of pressed glassware produced by the Paden City Glass Company of West Virginia (active 1916-1951) during the Depression era. It is a specific subset of Depression Glass, known for its distinct Art Deco style. While it was made during the Depression, Paden City items are sometimes considered slightly higher quality than the mass-produced, lower-quality Depression Glass.
