Chinese Qianjiang Cai Porcelain Teapot - Item/Description: Antique Chinese porcelain teapot decorated in the Qianjiang Cai style. Republic Period, circa 1912-1949. Cylindrical body features a hand-painted scene depicting a seated scholar or immortal figure beneath a gnarled pine tree, executed in a soft polychrome palette. Vessel includes distinctive double-wire metal loop handles and a matching inset lid. Reverse features calligraphic inscriptions or poetry, further characteristic of the scholar-painter tradition popular in late Qing and early Republic periods.
