Assortment of Chinese & Japanese Cloisonne - Item/Description: Varied assortment of Chinese and Japanese cloisonne enamel works, primarily dating from the late 19th-century Meiji and Qing periods to the mid-20th century. Includes classic ginger jars with domed covers, round trinket boxes with brass finials, one notably featuring a foo dog, and a tapered baluster vase. Decorative motifs consist of intricate polychrome floral designs, including peonies, cherry blossoms, and butterflies, set against vibrant grounds of cobalt blue, turquoise, and russet. Some marked or faintly marked ”China”. (East Asian) Material: Metal, Enamel Dimensions: Largest: Length: 3 1/2”; Width: 3 1/2”; Height: 8” . Smallest: Length: 3”; Width: 3”; Height: 1” . Condition: Signs of age, use, and wear include markings, enamel pitting, patina, and general wear. Underside of marking of ”China” faded.
