Signed Shreiber Female Nude Pencil Drawings - Lot Item/Description: Signed Shreiber three piece pencil on paper sketch studies framed. Intimate rendering of a woman's face, as a portrait and posing in front of a mirror. Drawn on what appears to be older yellowed paper taped to larger white paper torn out of an artist's sketch book, perforations visible. Scotch tape borders, act as matting, add to the study-like flavor of these works. Artist signed and numbered lower right: Shreiber, 70, 79, 80. Framed under acrylic in painted silver wood frame. Stringed hanging mechanism. Material: Pencil on Paper Dimensions: Image size: Height: 16 3/4”; Width: 14”. Framed: Height: 18 1/2”; Width: 15 1/2” Condition: Very Good. Works have not been removed from frames. Drawings retain their sharpness. Rips or tears are purposeful. Signs of age, use, and wear include yellowing to paper, chip loss to two frames, scuffs, and scratches.
