WWI Brass Artillery Shell Trench Art Vase - Item/Description: WWI Brass trench art vase, dated 1917. Fashioned from an expended French 75mm artillery shell casing. Body features an embossed raised tree trunk with leaf accents and a pear motif. Hammered, stippled background, finished with a scalloped dripping upper border. Base bears original arsenal headstamps including ”75 DE C” and year ”17”. Material: Brass Dimensions: Length: 3”; Width: 3”; Height: 14” Condition: Signs of age, use, and wear include aged patina, markings, scuffing, and surface wear.
