Art Deco Fountain of Knowledge Bronze Bookend - Item/Description: Art Deco solid bronze bookend, titled ”Girl Drinking from the Fountain of Knowledge” or ”Woman at the Fountain, ” dates to the early 20th century, circa 1910-1930. Features a high-relief sculpted scene of a female figure leaning over a basin to drink from a lion-head spout, framed by organic vine and floral borders. Stamped ”Solid Bronze” on verso. Material: Bronze Dimensions: Length: 3 5/8”; Width: 2 1/8”; Height: 5 3/8” Condition: Signs of age and wear include patina, markings, and surface wear.
