Japanese Meiji Hirado-Style Porcelain Sake Bottle - Item/Description: Late 19th-century Japanese Meiji-period porcelain sake vessel featuring a distinctive globular body form. Crafted from fine-grained white porcelain under a luminous, pale celadon-tinted glaze. Exterior is elegantly hand-painted with vibrant botanical sprays in underglaze cobalt blue. Flower centers provide a textural contrast, and are highlighted with raised, ”jeweled” orange enamel beadwork.
