Ottoman-Style Iznik Fritware Vase - Item/Description: Ottoman-Style Iznik fritware polychrome baluster vase with a flared, scalloped rim. Late 19th to early 20th century. Decorated in the traditional Iznik-style with a dense arrangement of stylized floral sprays, including cobalt blue tulips and sage green palmettes, outlined in black. Vessel features a characteristic off-white fritware body under a transparent lead glaze, exhibiting an all-over network of fine age-crazing and typical localized glaze losses. Piece represents the late-Ottoman revival of 16th-century ceramic traditions, produced in the Kutahya region of Turkey.
