Art Deco Style Lidded Casserole Dish - Item/Description: Early to mid-20th century ceramic lidded studio pottery bowl featuring a minimalist, streamlined design with three parallel ”comet” or wing motifs in black slip. Cream-colored earthenware or stoneware is finished with a hand-painted black rim and central knob on a slightly domed lid. Early modernist kitchenware casserole dish. (Mid Century Modern) Material: Glazed Earthenware Dimensions: Diameter: 7 1/2”; Height: 3 3/8” Condition: Signs of age and wear include surface scratches, scuffing, discoloration, crazing, chipping to rim of lid.
