Antique Chinese Carved Wood Wedding Basket - Item/Description: Antique Chinese carved wood wedding basket. Late Qing dynasty, early 20th century. Constructed of wood with a dark lacquer finish, and high-relief hand-carved fruit motifs including pomegranates and peaches. Arched handle is secured by decorative, openwork carved brackets at the shoulder and crown.
