Brian Maytum Iridescent Glass Vase - Item/Description: Iridescent blue pulled feather art glass vase featuring an intricate, classic Art Nouveau-revival pulled feather pattern contrasted against a speckled oil spot luster finish. The base glass has a rich blue hue topped with a striking purplish, multi-tonal iridescent aurene glaze that shifts color under direct light. The piece is hand blown by contemporary artist Brian Maytum at his studio in Boulder, Colorado. Maytum is an alumnus of the University of Colorado whose masterworks are held in prestigious global institutions, including the Corning Museum of Glass. Inscribed signature and date on vase's bottom.
