WWI Era German Military Trench Watch - Item/Description: Antique military trench watch from World War I. Marked Made in Germany. Features an enamel dial, with black Roman numerals and spade and whip style hands. Back case features a center shield escutcheon and a guilloche style design. They were essential military equipment. Transitional design between pocket watches and wristwatches, incorporating features of both. Material: Metal Dimensions: Case diameter: 1 3/8”; Case thickness: 1/2”. Condition: Being sold as-is for parts or repair. Not working; does not wind. Signs of age and wear include surface scratches, patina, and oxidation. No band.
