WWI Era Military Swiss Made Trench Watch - Item/Description: Antique World War I era trench or officer's watch, a transitional timepiece between pocket watches and modern wristwatches. It features a white dial with black 12-hour and red 24-hour numerals, which was common for military use. Large, fluted crown for winding and setting and wire lugs. Material: Metal Dimensions: Case diameter: 1 1/4”; Case thickness: 3/8”. Condition: Signs of age and wear include surface and deep scratches, oxidation, and patina. No band. Automatic; runs when shook. Numbers etched on reverse of back cover possibly reading ”N 123”.
