Leyendecker (artist signature). ”Third Liberty Loan Campaign” poster depicts a Boy Scout kneeling and handing a sword inscribed with ”Be prepared” to a figure representing Liberty, who is holding a shield. The campaign encouraged citizens to purchase government bonds to help fund the war effort.
