Features a large spread-winged eagle clutching a stylized radial aircraft engine and a propeller. The reverse side specifies Imperial Year 2600. This corresponds to the Western year 1940, a massive year of national celebration in Japan marking the mythical 2,600th anniversary of the founding of the empire.
