A.S.M. CVA Italian Repro Colt Army Model 1860 - Item/Description: Armi San Marco (A.S.M.) .44 Caliber non-firing replica after the Colt Model 1860 Army configuration. Army Italian reproduction of a Colt cap-and-ball percussion revolver. Marked with serial number 2207 on the bottom of the brass frame. Stamped to side of barrel: ”A.S.M. BLACK POWDER ONLY CAL. 44 MADE IN ITALY”. Marking stamped on the top of the barrel reads ”CONNECTICUT VALLEY ARMS - MADE IN ITALY.” manufactured in Italy and imported to the United States. Engraving on the cylinder depicts the Battle of Campeche, a famous naval engagement fought on May 16, 1843.
