WWII U.S. Army Footlocker Trunk - Item/Description: World War II-era footlocker trunk designed for a U.S. Army officer. Includes name, ”Fred A. Peck” and his unique serial number. Constructed from solid wood reinforced with riveted steel edges, a central locking hasp, and side latches for secure transport. Exterior is finished in standard-issue olive drab (OD) paint. Historically used to store personal belongings, uniforms, and military documents at the foot of soldiers' bunks or during overseas deployment, and still serves as a functional trunk.
