Antique Victorian Brass Military Field Binoculars - Item/Description: Antique Victorian era military field glasses / pair of binoculars. Late 19th - early 20th century, circa 1880s-1900s. Crafted with a heavy solid brass body featuring a center wheel focus mechanism and sliding sunshades on the objective lenses. Brass barrels display a finely grooved, engine-turned reeded pattern that originally provided a firm grip for field use. Optics retain their original glass elements mounted in turned brass housings.
