Victorian Silver-Plated Bride's Basket Base - Item/Description: Antique Victorian silver-plated bride's basket frame. Late 19th century, circa 1880s-1890s. Ornate table centerpiece features a wide, circular dish receptacle intricately hand-engraved with a stylized botanical fern pattern encircling a central blank monogram reserve. Body is equipped with its original curved brass swing handle and is anchored to a heavy, high-pedestal footed base adorned with four classical foliate-scroll feet. Traditionally paired with a fluted ruffled glass bowl inserts as a celebratory wedding gift.
