Sterling Silver Sailing Ship Candle Snuffer - Item/Description: Vintage continental sterling silver candle snuffer, circa mid-20th century. Features a long, slender wire handle terminating in a fully sculpted, decorative openwork finial depicting a multi-masted galleon sailing ship at sea. The opposite end is mounted with a small, pivoting bell-shaped dousing cup finished with a simple turned finial and double incised accent lines along the lower rim. Condition: Signs of age, use, and wear include tarnishing, oxidation, surface markings, faint scuffing, residue.
