Federal Style Etched Eagle Glass Hurricane Shades - Item/Description: A matching pair of vintage architectural glass hurricane lamp shades, circa mid-20th century. Crafted from thin, hand-blown clear glass, each shade features a classic flared hurricane silhouette tapering down to a narrow cylindrical collar base. Central body is decorated in the Federal Revival style, showcasing a large spread-wing American eagle clutching arrows and an olive branch, surrounded by delicate frosted star accents and finished with a thin gilt rim band. Shades were historically used to protect candle flames from drafts on large table candelabras or wall sconces.
