Cambridge Glass ”Draped Lady” Flower Frog - Item/Description: Art Deco clear glass flower frog, featuring a figure of draped nude woman. Manufactured by the celebrated Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio, originally patented in 1927. Hand-pressed from crystal-clear glass, the piece features the iconic ”Draped Lady” sculpture, catalog silhouette design #518, occasionally referenced by collectors as ”Bashful Charlotte”, depicting a partially nude young woman looking downward while clutching a draped sheet against her hips. Figure stands atop a heavy, round 10-hole tiered base designed to space and anchor flower stems inside a console center bowl.
