MCM American Stangl Star & Garden Flower Pottery - Item/Description: Two pieces of mid-century American Stangl Pottery featuring the ”Star Flower” covered teapot and a ”Garden Flower” sunflower-motif cream pitcher. Pottery showcases the American manufacturer's iconic mid-century craftsmanship, defined by vibrant underglaze hand-painting, rich forest green accents, and deep brown-glazed interiors that reflect a classic Pennsylvania-German design influence on New Jersey art dinnerware. Pitcher decorated in the ”Star Flower” pattern (produced from 1952 to 1978), features a sage-green glazed body features hand-carved, incised white star flowers accented by dark green foliage and deep teal bands, complete with its original matching green-domed lid. The creamy ivory glazed body features hand-carved, incised bright yellow sunflower blossoms accented by dark teal-green foliage and matching horizontal rim bands, complete with a contrasting warm brown-glazed interior.
