Belle Epoque gouache and mixed media painting features an intimate interior scene depicting a nude ballet dancer seated on a checkered chair cushion as she leans forward to adjust her pink pointe shoes, surrounded by fashionable elements of the era including a red Chinoiserie table and an Art Nouveau floral arrangement. Affixed directly to the reverse is a French Salon Exhibition Label from the Societe des Artistes Francais, ”Bureau de Vente” (Sales Office) Paris, France.
