Indian Hand-Carved Teak Expandable Book Slide - Item/Description: Vintage tabletop book rack is an expandable library accessory handcrafted in India from premium teak or sheesham wood during the mid-20th-century export wave. Mechanical construction features a sliding track base that expands laterally to accommodate varying literary collections, paired with two hinged endboards that fold flat for compact storage. Both the base and side panels are heavily decorated with high-relief, openwork pierce carvings showcasing an intricate, dense botanical composition of interlocking floral blooms and flowing vine tendrils.
