Kennedy (JFK) produced shortly after his assassination, circa 1964 by Sim Art. Molded from solid plaster (chalkware) and finished in a classic metallic gold faux-bronze paint layer. Marked ”SIM-ART CO INC” and ”GENEVA-LEE.” Sim-Art Co. was a mid-century American novelty and decorative manufacturer specializing in cast chalkware and plaster figurines, operating at peak volume during the 1960s to supply retail stores across the country with commercial interior accents and commemorative political souvenirs following major national events.
