Art Deco Chinoiserie Pagoda Table Lamp - Item/Description: An Art Deco stylized table lamp featuring a kneeling female figure in drapery, holding aloft a substantial, architectural pagoda-form lantern. The four-sided lantern features low-relief molded openwork panels depicting people carrying yokes, backed by orange slag glass panels to emit a warm glow when illuminated. Finished in a uniform golden-bronze patination over a molded stepped base. Base marked ”A. BELL SPECIALTY / PAT. PEND.”, the official maker's mark and foundry stamp for A. Bell Specialty Co., a well-known American manufacturer of decorative metal goods and novelty lighting based on the East Coast. (Antique Asian Lamp, Geometric Deco Decor, Figural Lamp, Antique Decor) Material: Cast Spelter, Slag Glass Dimensions: Length: 5 1/2”; Width: 5 1/4”; Height: 18 3/4” Condition: Signs of age, use, and wear include surface wear, markings, and wear to finish.
