Kohelet Moshe (Kozhnitz) – Lublin printing, 1906 – the promise of the Rebbe of Ostrovtza to purchasers of the book: “A wondrous segulah it is for the blessing to dwell within their home.” - Kohelet Moshe By the holy R. Moshe Elyakim Briah Hopshtein of Kozhnitz, with selections from his father the Maggid of Kozhnitz. Dozens of approbations from the great Rebbes – who write in their approbations awesome words about the importance and segulah-power of this holy book: The Rebbe of Ostrovtza:  “גם סגולה נוראה הוא להיות הברכה שורה בתוך ביתם.” The Rebbe the Yismach Yisrael of Alexander:  “וזכות המחבר יעמוד להם להוושע מכל צרה וצוקה.” The Rebbe Rabbi Avraham of Lublin:  “וזכות המחבר הקדוש יגן עליהם להצילם מכל צרה וצוקה.” The Rebbe Rabbi Menachem of Amshinov:  “יהיה שורה אצליכם ברכה וכל טוב.” The Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael of Grodzisk:  “וכל מי שיקבל את הספר הקדוש הנ”ל לתוך ביתו בוודאי יהי' לו כל טוב.” The Rebbe Rabbi Avraham of Porisov writes:  “ומצווה רבה לקבל הברכה הספר הק' לתוך ביתו של איש מישראל וזכות המחבר הק' יגן על כולנו להוושע בכל ענינים לטובה.” The Rebbe Rabbi Yehoshua Asher of Kalishin:  “וכל מי שיקבל את הספר הזה לתוך ביתו בוודאי יקבל גם ברכה והצלחה לתוך ביתו.” And more holy expressions regarding the segulah-nature of the book. On leaves 121–134 is printed an especially long subscription list, including the names of individuals from dozens of communities, among them many dozens of Rebbes and rabbis from across Poland and Galicia. Owners: Stamp of Natan Aharon Wolf of Kraków [in an earlier generation there had been a rabbi of Ushpitzin [Oświęcim] by this name, whose father had been a disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch]. Front endpaper: I purchased with my means… Yaakov Moshe Wolf [apparently the father of the above Natan Aharon, perhaps a son or grandson of the rabbi of Ushpetzin. A letter of the Tchebiner from the Second World War to R. Moshe Elyakim Briah[!] inquires after the welfare of “our relative Natan Aharon Wolf.”].
