Kuntres “Chovat HaTalmidim” by the holy Rebbe of Piaseczna Hy״d - Warsaw 1932 - Chovat HaTalmidim The holy Gaon Rabbi Kalonymus Kalman Shapira – the Piaseczna Rebbe Hy״d Warsaw, 1932  The Rebbe of Piaseczna, one of the great leaders of Poland between the two world wars, was a master educator, a sublime spiritual guide, and he immortalized his educational philosophy for Avodat Hashem in his writings, foremost in this book – Chovat HaTalmidim. True to its name, it illuminates the path of the student to know and fulfill his duty in this world, in Torah, in prayer, and in divine service. The Rebbe became one of the leaders of the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto, strengthening and guiding them, gathering crowds in defiance of the Nazi decrees, delivering his teachings, and recording these talks in writings that survived miraculously and were published in Esh Kodesh. He stood firm until the bitter end and was murdered with the liquidation of the ghetto. The book was printed for the first time during his lifetime. Since then, until today, it has been published in dozens and perhaps hundreds of editions, and countless seekers of Torah from every circle study his teachings, their number growing each year. In his testament, written in the very midst of the Holocaust, he writes “ואני מבקש מתחנן לפני כל אחד מישראל שילמד בספריי, ובטח זכות אבותיי הקדושים זצוקלל״הה יעמוד לו ולכל ביתו בזה ובבא וה׳ ירחם עלינו... יותר לא אוכל לכתוב...” Before us is a rare edition of this renowned work The book is in excellent condition and well-preserved, with a new leather binding.
