A rare edition Sefer Or Torah, teachings of Kabbalah and Chassidut on the weekly Torah portions, by the great and holy Maggid Rabbi Dov Ber of Mezhirich. Zolkiew, 1850 Printed by Shaul Dov Meirhoefer The only work of the holy Maggid arranged according to the order of the weekly Torah readings. The Torah discourses of the great Maggid of Mezhirich were first printed in Koretz in 1781 in the book Maggid Devarav LeYaakov – Likutei Amarim, by his disciple Rabbi Shlomo of Luck. However, the teachings were not edited or arranged in any particular sequence. In Or Torah, the teachings were organized according to the order of the weekly Torah portions, Shir HaShirim, Tehillim, and the Aggadot of Chazal. The book was first printed in Koretz in 1804, based on a manuscript found in the home of Rabbi Yeshaya of Dinowitz, Av Beit Din of Yanov, a disciple of the Maggid of Mezhirich and of Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz.
