Shoresh Yesha, 1768 – first edition, cited frequently in the writings of the Tzemach Tzedek - Sefer Shoresh Yesha Frankfurt an der Oder 1768 – first edition. By Rabbi Yitzchak Itzik of Zeldin. It is an abridgement of the work “Meir Netiv”, known as the “Concordance”, composed by Rabbi Mordechai Nathan (Venice 1523–1524). Printed by the widow of Doctor and Professor Grilla. In the chassidic writings of the Zemach Tzedek of Lubavitch, and his son the Maharash, Sefer “Shoresh Yesha” is quoted frequently in order to define the meanings of words. [1], 47 leaves, 33 cm After the title page – an addition of words that were omitted within the book and were supplied by the author. In place of an introduction – he copied the introduction to Sefer “Ohaley Yehudah”, which also deals with word-roots and synonyms – see item 2.
