Prayer for drought, printed especially for the community of Livorno in 1783 - Prayer printed for the community of Livorno, due to the drought that occurred in 1783  Livorno 1783. It should be noted that the Chida, who lived in Livorno at that time, recounts the fasts and mortifications he undertook during those days (see “Ma’agal Tov”, year 1783). It is possible that this prayer text was arranged by the Chida himself, for he would compose rescue-prayers for various communities; see his work “Yosef BeSeder” (no. 5).
