DON FINK (Minessotta, 1923 - 2010), ”Untitled”, 2004 - ”Don” Fink (Duluth, Minessotta, 1923) studied at the Art Students League and at the Academie Julien. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota, but later moved to Europe where he established himself as an artist. He first settled in Paris where he was a member of the ”” Jeune Ecole de Paris ”” (with Appel, Debre, Hundertwasser, Tapies, Dumitresco, Messagier, Zanartu, etc.) to end up living in Barcelona. Don Fink was born in Duluth (Minnesota, USA) on September 1, 1923. He was initially educated at the Walker Art School in Minneapolis and continued at the Arts Students League in New York, where he strongly focused on abstract expressionism. He was called up in World War II and after graduating and holding various exhibitions in the US he moved to live in Paris in 1952 where he remained until 1977, the year he settled in our country until his death in 2010.
