Exceptional pair of coppers representing Saint Matthew and Saint Mark, Italian school of the 17th century
Pair of oils on copper, vividly polychrome and gilded. Bolognese or Florentine master of the 17th century. The first represents "The Inspiration of Saint Matthew" next to the Angel, and next to him we find Saint Mark, next to the Lion. Finely gilded on the original polychromy, obtaining a reflection effect under the light. Copper measures: 23 x 17 cm. Framed measurements: 26 x 22 cm. Provenance: important private collection, Spain.
