MARCO LODOLA (1955) - Coca Cola (ca. 2010) - Acrylic and enamel on canvas. Dimensions: 60 × 150 × 3.5 cm. Marco Lodola, born in April 1955 in Dorno, in the province of Pavia, is one of the founders of the Nuovo Futurismo movement, created with Dario Brevi. This movement, driven by the theories of critic Renato Barilli, proposes a reinterpretation of the exaltation of modernity, drawing inspiration from historical avant-garde movements. Throughout his career, Lodola has developed projects for very diverse fields, ranging from industry and public institutions to culture and advertising. In his work, the artist recovers—or perhaps reinvents—the pleasure of a spontaneous and unpretentious, almost unconscious visual citation. Her universe revolves around the great myths of the collective unconscious in the age of mass media: music, cinema, design... She doesn't idealize them, but rather approaches them with a playful, vibrant, and accessible perspective, as if each piece were part of a grand visual game. She has collaborated with renowned brands and organizations such as Carlsberg, Coca-Cola, Coveri, Ducati, Swatch, and others. Located in an international warehouse.
