Orthodox Triptych with Cloisonné Enamels. 20th Century - Bronze with cloisonné enamels. Measurements: 7.5 x 10 cm open; 5.5 cm closed. Devotional triptych in the Orthodox tradition, cast in bronze with cloisonné enamels in light blue and white. The central panel depicts the Virgin Hodegetria holding the Child, framed by ornamental motifs and flanked by relief scenes on the hinged side panels. The upper section, cut into a shaped outline, features angelic figures and an inscription in Cyrillic. The folding format allows for portability, typical of personal devotional objects in the Russian and Balkan Orthodox worlds. The cloisonné technique, finely applied to the decorative areas, adds chromatic richness and artisanal value. This piece reflects traditional models reproduced in the 20th century for both liturgical and collectible purposes, evoking Byzantine iconography and the visual spirituality of the Orthodox Church. Despite its small scale, the triptych carries significant symbolic and devotional weight.
