Large solid sterling silver belt buckle for a noble English or French gentleman from the 18th century - In fine silver of at least 950 purity (verified) and cut crystals. Weight 45.05g. Measurements: 6 x 7.5 cm. It could also possibly have been a European work for export to the Chinese market in accordance with the fashion canons of the time.
