Rare and important colonial Ceramic Jug from Tolana from Mexico, New Spanish colonial work from the last third of the 18th century - Used to serve water or wine and keep its cool temperature. In Tolaná terracotta, enameled and painted with beautiful floral motifs and birds of paradise, it presents a small restoration on the spout of the mouth of the jug and a handle. Measurements: 35 x 16 x 12 cm. Origin: former García Viñales collection, Madrid. Good condition, one small restoration on the mouth (1 x 0.5 cm) and one stress horizontal crack on the handle.
