Pair of Elizabethan chairs. Spanish School. 19th century - Pair of Elizabethan-style chairs in fine wood, crafted with elegant restraint. They feature a closed lyre-shaped backrest with a curvilinear structure and a molded central crossbar. The slightly trapezoidal seat is upholstered in beige fabric with a geometric pattern and finished with a fine perimeter border. The front legs adopt a cabriole shape, while the slightly angled rear legs harmoniously complete the silhouette. The piece stands out for its pure lines, the polished finish of the wood, and the formal coherence that evokes bourgeois furniture models from the reign of Elizabeth II. It is part of the eclectic historicism of the 19th century, reinterpreting the elegance and functionality of classicist repertoires, reinterpreted for domestic purposes. Dimensions: 100 x 47 x 38 cm.
