Rare Ming Dynasty Wanli Chinese bowl, Chinese export to Europe, 16th century - Rare cobalt blue and white ”Klamputs” porcelain bowl, 16th century. Some of these exquisite and rare porcelain pieces, previously unknown in Europe, were mounted in gold and silver and were highly valued in the noble courts of Europe and later by Europe's commercial and financial elite. Good condition, with a small firing crack and bubbles typical of the primitive technique of the first porcelain of the period. Measurements: 19 x 19 x 9 cm.
