Devotional sculpture depicting the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus, made in southern France during the 18th century. The figure retains traces of its original polychromy in shades of blue, a symbol of Marian purity and royalty. With its delicate modeling and serene expression, this piece reflects the spirituality and elegance of French religious imagery from the late Baroque period.
