Bidspirit auction | Italian wall clock with rampant
Italian wall clock with rampant horse finial, Italy, 19th century - Vintage pendulum clock, crafted from wood and glass, with a mechanical winding mechanism. Dimensions: 35 × 18 × 92 cm (height). This clock, datable between 1850 and 1900, is preserved in excellent working condition and has not undergone any prior restoration. It comes with its original winding key. The clock features a white enameled dial with Arabic and Roman numerals and a finely crafted bronze pendulum. The mechanism, made entirely of bronze, operates a chime that strikes the half-hour and the hour with a harmonious and pleasant sound.
