Luca Alinari (Firenze, 1943–2019) - L'altro io del suo io - A 35-color multi-material screen print on Scholler-type cardboard, created in 2003, measuring 70 × 70 cm, with a circular image of the work 57.5 cm in diameter. Signed in pastel in the lower right corner, the work is characterized by the use of highly pigmented colors and relief effects. It bears a drypoint stamp on the reverse. This copy is number XIX of edition C in Roman numerals; the edition also includes 200 copies in Arabic numerals and 25 PA copies. Published by Columbus AR – Colombo Arte Edizioni, with a label, stamp, and signature on the reverse. The composition, of great visual complexity, unfolds an imaginary universe populated by scenes, figures, and landscapes that intertwine in a circular space, reflecting Alinari's introspective and visionary poetics, centered on the multiplicity of the self and the dreamlike dimension of thought.
