Leon Gischia (Paris, 1903–1991) – Senza titolo - Color screen print on paper, 1980, 85 × 56 cm. Signed in pencil in the lower right corner, this is copy number 46 of an edition of 60, stamped “STUDIO” in the lower left corner. The composition features an abstract language of organic forms and intense color, characteristic of Gischia's artistic exploration of figure-ground balance, visual rhythm, and formal synthesis, in dialogue with the tradition of postwar European abstraction. Slight dark dotwork is visible around the edges of the paper, which does not affect the surface of the printing plate or the image's readability. Provenance: private collection, Padua.
