The modeling is frontal and austere, with simplified facial features and a marked verticality. The surface retains traces of slip and polychromy, indicating its original finish. The piece belongs to the Mingqi funerary context of the Wei Dynasty, dating from the 5th and 6th centuries, and was intended to accompany the deceased and reflect the courtly life of its time.
