Globular urn resting on a narrow base, with a wide upper opening that accentuates its open and stable profile. The surface is molded with a continuous relief of crossed cords that run around the perimeter, adding rhythm and texture to the volume. Traces of painted and calligraphic decoration in sepia tones are visible, featuring stylized bamboo motifs arranged loosely and harmoniously. The modeling is understated and balanced, with careful execution that demonstrates technical control during firing. The piece belongs to the Chinese ceramic production of the Jin Dynasty, between the 12th and 13th centuries, where the combination of relief and painting reinforces the decorative and symbolic character of the object.
