Pair of decorative goblets with corrugated iron bodies, in a neoclassical design, decorated with relief female heads, garlands, and plant elements. The vessels, with shapes inspired by classical amphorae, stand on solid bases of reddish veined marble, providing chromatic contrast and material nobility. These pieces, dating from the early 20th century, reflect the historicist taste of the period, in which classical forms were revalued to embellish bourgeois and palatial interiors.
