Church desk with hinged lid in solid oak and wrought iron fittings - Rectangular in structure with a sloping lid, hinged by two robust, period wrought iron hinges. The front features a large square keyhole with a wrought iron knocker and latch, typical of chests used for valuables or administrative purposes. Solid oak with a beautiful antique patina, panels assembled with mortise and tenon joints. France or England. 17th century. Height 24 x 56 x 39 cm.
