Collection of silver ex-votos from the colonial period of Peru, Peruvian, 17th-18th centuries - Important collection of 10 votive Sacred Hearts from colonial Peru, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Eight pieces are made of hammered and chased silver, and two are made of metal, all with artistic forms typical of religious votive offerings. Several bear the acronym GR (Gracia recibir - Grace Received) in the center and retain their patina. They are hallmarked with both silver and maker's marks. They come from a private collector.
