Funerary horse Mingqi, Chinese school, 3rd - 6th century - Partially glazed terracotta in an amber-brown tone. Measures 29 x 33 x 13 cm. Figure of a funerary horse standing on a rectangular base, with its head slightly inclined forward and its ears erect. The body has a compact volume and robust legs, with a saddle decorated in relief and harness elements marked by incisions. The circular eyes and drooping tail accentuate the schematic character of the piece. The surface retains irregular traces of brown glaze over the exposed terracotta, with general wear, losses of glaze, and erosion in various areas.
